They are the City of Austin, City of Round Rock and
Williamson County Recycle Center (8 miles East of
Georgetown). These centers will accept any old or
unused household chemicals from residents.

The list includes unused paint. Cap City Eco has
negotiated with both City of Round Rock and The
Williamson County Recycling Center to accept and
RECYCLE light latex paint. In the past much of this paint
was mixed with another chemical and
ended up in landfills.

Last year we saved 28,000 thousand pounds (14 tons) of
paint from ending up in the landfill. For the year 2009 we
are forecasting almost doubling that amount and have a
goal of 50,000 pounds. That is 25 tons of paint while
reducing many electric bills. That along with the 30%
income tax credit is such a win-win for everybody.

Recycling that much paint is very GREEN but we used
that paint mixed with Radiosity to save our customers
even more money. Treating their homes to
reduce their A/C bills year after year.
There are many recycle symbols. If we want to save our precious world we should
recycle everything we can.

Whatever ends up in the landfill
is a wasted resource.

We could buy newly manufactured paint for our Radiant Barriers but is that GREEN?
