| Sometimes a picture is worth more than 1,000 words. The man in this picture is not a model paid to sit on a metal roof on a 100 degree day. (We would have picked someone much better looking). The picture is of one of the Principals of the company. |

Pre- Engineered buildings and metal roofs are a fabulous investment for your home or business. But as with any roof there are drawbacks. The metal gets extremely hot and creates an oven in your attic or top portion of the building. Another problem inherent with metal roofing are the loud pops as it heats and cools. We painted this roof with Radiosity Radiant Barrier mixed in with the paint. As the picture shows it cooled this metal roof down tremendously. (It cooled down enough it would not burn you laying on it on a sunny 100 degree day). The loud popping problem was virtually eliminated. Application of the Radiant Barrier on the roof dramatically lowers a utility bill. |
